Office for Victims of Crime - Improving Outcomes Program

The U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime granted funds to OCJS in 2017 and again in 2020 to improve the state level response to the human trafficking of youth in Ohio. An OCJS Grant Coordinator was hired to coordinate and manage the program, provided training and technical assistance to juvenile serving agencies, and create protocols and policies for best practice. Dollars will also be awarded to two juvenile courts to assist in the development of juvenile diversion programs for survivors of human trafficking.
